Alana and Alyssa
Alana De La Garza has made a name for herself on television. In 1976 De La Garza was born to a Mexican American father and an Irish-American mother from Columbus Ohio. Her move to Texas for the purpose of pursuing a career as physical therapist at the University of Texas. De La Garza moved from Texas into Orlando, Florida and took part in a wide range of actor roles. This included independent local films, as well as world-wide commercials. She quickly found her passion to perform despite the small roles. When she moved to New York, in 2001, Rosa Santos earned her first acting role on All My Children. In the beginning of 2000, she appeared in small roles in JAG Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men. The year 2004 saw her landing her first role in a major series in the drama The Mountain. De La Garza starred as Maria Serrano alongside top TV celebrities like Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley, Anson Mount, and Mitch Pileggi. She appeared on Law & Order in 2006. was A.D.A. on Law & Order. Connie Rubirosa. She was featured in 85 episodes. Her next role was on the short-lived spinoff Law & Order: LA. This particular character earned De La Garza many nominations including Best Supporting Actress - Television at the Imagen Foundation Awards and even numerous ALMA Award noms. The National Hispanic Media Coalition awarded De La Garza the Impact Award, which is given for outstanding performances in the drama TV series. A short moment later De La Garza was cast for CSI Miami in a recurring character. She played Marisol Delko, the wife of David Caruso's character Horatio Caine. Her most recent work on TV was on NBC's darker drama Do No Harm as Dr. Lena Solis. After two episodes the series was put on hold. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. Her parents are an ethnically-mixed woman of Italian origin and is the younger sister of Cory who is 10 years her junior. She was raised by the strictest and most religious family. Milano was able to begin her career at the age of seven, when her babysitter was with her on an audition to act. Her audition was amidst over 1,000 people who applied. She was selected among only four girls. Milano performed in television advertisements and off-Broadway shows including the first American musical adaptation to Jane Eyre.
